delete everything after successful unraring?
« on: November 10, 2007, 12:42:58 am »
Currently i have altbinz downloading using rss automatically, then extracting to a different drive to d:\show\season

i have the options ticked for deleting files from folder and removing empty folder, how ever some par files remain so the folder isnt removed.

could you add remove .par files as well as the existing archives, sfv and md5 optons.

or perhaps a "remove all files in download directory"

although this would perhaps need to be greyed out if you arent unraring to a different folder

remove par2 is already implemented ( see setup -> par2)

"Delete small par2" and " Cleanup after par2 repair"

you do download some par2 files per default right?

just set "import as paused: par2 recovery files if size is larger then xx bytes" to 0. (setup -> nzb)
So alt.binz will only unpause blocks if needed.

I just tested this: if no par2 files are needed but downloaded they won't be deleted.

So this should be a request :)

Correct, but ive found the auto unpausing to be unreliable at times (didnt unpause parts, yet if i did it manually it would then unrar etc)

This is a completely automated setup on a headless machine, so I didnt want to be checking it all the time if media didnt appear.

With this setup, the media always unrars, but im just left with folders with files in my download location.

Oh and this is the request section :P

So im guessing everything is grabbed through rss. If your using 0.26.3+ you could always just have it run a command that deleted all the par files by using the third parameters on the filters.

Delete small par2 after succesfull check is replaced with "Delete par2 files after succesfull check" This will solve your problem.
