I'm ruining win 7 64, When I press the "open download folder" icon,  Alt binz become "a non responsive application" that eventually crash and leads to the crash of the opened download folder windows. Only fix I've found is wait for alt binz to respond back.

seems to work ok on windows vista 32

Which folder is your AB installed into? Where are your files being downloaded to?

C:\Users\me\Downloads
C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Alt.Binz\temp\
C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet\AltBinz

I'll try to investigate more with windows log, next weeks,
I've played with the extraction (unrar) path and now it seems to work fine

Hanutawii I would suggest that you disactivate extract to folder based on "what ever" in the option and tell me if you have improvement

THX for the support, but i managed it myself. Just deleted all Files in "C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Alt.Binz"
Maybe it freezed all the time cause the old config files from 0.25 were just there... whatever... now its running like hell ;-)
Really a great usenet tool !
