0.36.0 Win7 Taskbar not updating correct?
« on: February 28, 2011, 09:25:01 am »
Since 0.36.0 you can see the download progress in your taskbar icon of windows 7.
But when I Pause/Unpause a set of 23 Gigabyte, the icon doesn't update at all, even tough it is like half my download queque size.
Even when it's like 90% of my download queque it doesn't update it.
Not sure whether or not it can be fixed, but it might be something to look into. I don't have my icon pinned to the taskbar btw.

I cannot reproduce this.

I've made a 23GB collection, started downloading, gone to 5%, progress in taskbar is ok. I've paused the collection, progress is gone. I've unpaused the collection, progress is back and is updateing.
Am I missing a step?

Actually, you misinterpreted my post...
Get 2 collections of about the same size, both like 100 mb, as so you will have to wait some time for it to be downloaded.
Start downloading with both collections unpaused. Than after some time (before the first one is finished) pause the 2nd collection, the taskbar will still give the same amount of progress being finished, while the queque size has been cut to half the original size, so the processbar should double in length. (Now it could be that it still updates after 1 file has been downloaded, so that the refresh of the bar comes later, but I haven't tested that).

It's the progress of collection not the progress of the queue.
