Title: [0.36.2] "Invalid floating point operation" on Windows 7 when disabling Aero
Post by: azerajion on March 16, 2011, 11:48:07 am
Hi there,

when a program disables Windows 7 Aero, Alt.Binz will output the following error every few seconds:

Once Aero is reenabled, I have to click "OK" multiple times to acknowledge all those messages. Also, the top bar might be missing afterwards and I have to minimize the app to tray and reopen it to get it back.

Regards,
Aze

Am I missing anything?

Not when switching from Aero to Non-Aero but when a program launches that does not support Aero desktop composition (old applications like Paint Shop Pro 9, old games etc.)
I can reproduce it by opening System => Advanced System Settings > Advanced => Performance => Properties and deselecting "Enable desktop composition".

Also sometimes happens when coming back from Hibernation when Alt.Binz was open.
