Pars are not being removed from the par2 tab once the rars have been extracted, however the SFV's are.
Par2 files are not used when SFV is present in the par2 tab, meaning the SFV will show completed rar archives but the matching par2 file shows zero rars completed download.

SFV should never be imported if there are par2 files. So I need steps in reproducing how to force altbinz to import both sfv and par2.

ok, i figured a way around it grabbing both, unticked "move SFV file to top of the queue" so it's just the par2 tab cleanup that still doesn't work correctly, if SFV and par2 are present it removes the SFV but leaves the par2 index file behind.

I never had this problem before. Used to grab the files and delete Par2 and keep the SFV.

There should be a way to keep par2 checking but not delete the SFV file. SFV files are used more widely than par2, par2 is good for usenet but once a download is completed there's no need for it. SFV will do fine.
