Alt.Binz 0.31.9 does not start downloading

I just upgraded to 0.31.9 and noticed that it wasn't downloading. Clicking connect twice didn't do anything, so I went back to 0.31.8 and it downloaded normally. I cleared the queue then tried the new version with a new nzb -- no download threads.

Downgrading to 0.31.8 fixes everything.

Read the rules until it's clear why doesn't it work.
If I see EVEN one more entry in failed logins log, I'll ban all 3 accounts involved. Then all 3 of you can figure out whos to blame.

I don't know why you think there's more than one person using my account. I downloaded 0.31.9, got the error, downloaded 0.31.8 (I usually click "Open" instead of "Save"), then tried to downloaded 0.31.9 again.

Other than that I use a ssh tunnel to a seedbox to bypass nntp shaping (socks 5 proxy selected in options).

So, how come you're not using your alt.binz copy? I see 4th person now all with the same copy that doesn't belong to him?

Try to redownload your copy now. Same goes for wvnispen & R4m80 or any other mweb.co.za user

Hi there. I redownloaded Alt.Binz 0.31.9, but I still don't get any connections. ???

thought i should update.  I did a complete uninstall.  reinstall of .25, then copied the .31.9 over it and it works fine.  ;-)  Hope this helps everyone else.

Well, you forgot to mention you did change your forum password and you forgot to reenter it in altbinz. So, once you reinstalled, you entered correct forum login data and it automagically started working :P

hahahaha, thats the sort of thing i do ! ... was just reading this prior to downloading v0.31.9 as the previous is good for me, so didn't want to generate any problems for myself.

I'm pretty sure I still have the same password as I never re-entered anything upon reinstall?  I did change here to make sure that wasn't the reason it stopped though. Thought maybe the new version required new logins or somethin but nah.  Oh well.  Rockin and rollin now ;-)

i grabbed the latest version yesterday, standard overwrite of old files and everything works fine :)

Hi,
I re-downloaded 0.31.9 this morning. This file has my username in the file name. The first copy I downloaded yesterday did not have my username.
With yesterdays copy I just overwrote the the old files. Started, but no connection. I then re-installled the free version and overwrote that with 0.31.9. Still no luck. Put back 0.31.6 and it worked.
I now copied the 'new' username version over 0.31.6 (the latest I had) but still does not connect. Overwrote it with the old 0.31.6 and that logs on and works. However when I end 0.31.6 now I get "A call to an OS function failed". Should I completely uninstall and then reinstall?

Not sure why My name is here.  I am running an old version because the 0.31.>6 didnt work.  I only run 1 (one) copy. am I allowed to use old ones or 0.32.0? Where do you see I have more than one running...never the less 4.
