Title: Alt.Binz prevents PC sleeping irrespective of 'Prevent entering standby' setting
Post by: dpsharp on April 09, 2012, 05:23:39 pm

Whenever Alt.Binz is running my PC won't go to sleep, I've currently got Windows set to sleep after 2 mins and sure enough exactly 2 mins after quitting Alt.Binz it shuts down. The 'Prevent entering standby mode' option in Misc#2 settings is *not* ticked.

Running the command 'powercfg -energy' and inspecting the output reports the following:

   System Availability Requests:System Required Request
The program has made a request to prevent the system from automatically entering sleep.
   Requesting Process \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Program Files\Alt.Binz\altbinz.exe

I've seen this behaviour on v0.39.2 and v0.39.4 of Alt.Binz and occurs whether the download queue is empty or not, am I missing another setting?

I'm running Windows 7 x64.

Cannot reproduce it here. Works as expected.
