auto unrar stopped working

Hi,

Been using 0.39.2 for a while. Auto unrar'ed fine for weeks. And it just stopped working. Nothing changed on the pc. Nothing upated. It just stopped working.

i deleted everything in the app data\altbinz folder, except the rss stuff and server stuff and now it works again.

pa2info.abz file is the problem. If it happens again, I would like that file before you delete it.

I think its this one- didn't permanently delete them... just in case.

You should cleanup/delete par2 sets from par2 tab more often.

yea, a few people upload nzbs to the pc running altbinz. and its always in use.

Mine was 6.7MB when unrar stopped working. Now, that I deleted the file, everything works again.

Mine stopped working again over the weekend too. Seems to be a regular thing for a few people. I first reported this last May and it is still happening.

I have now turned on cleanup as suggested and hopefully this will fix it. Is the root cause known?

If its a case of log or history files getting too big then maybe the app could post a warning when the files start to grow too large?

Updated from 0.35 to 0.39.4 and after some days working fine my PAR2 tab was somehow not working anymore.
A couple of files just stuck in there, cleanup and manuel deleting was not working after closing alt.binz these files just showed up again with a green symbol.

I just deleted the par2info.abz file (size 28KB) after alt.binz reboot everything works perfect again !

Just installed 0.394.
The first post was unrared perfectly, after that it stopped.
Whatever I try it does not unrar at all.

Anny suggestions would be great

Did you look in the log tab or in the log folder in the altbinz dir?

Do the nzbs that don't unrar apear in the par2tab?
