From yesterday the bandwidth limit doesn't work: AltBinz keep downloading at full speed.
See http://imgur.com/2MWEr (http://imgur.com/2MWEr) Even with limit at 200KB/s it keeps downloading at 808KB/s.
The scheduler is disabled. I upgraded from 0.39.3 to 0.39.5 but the problem persists. I'm using Windows7 ultimate 64bit.
Thanks!

Is your max speed set correctly?
-
The "maximum download speed" was set at 1000 Kb/s (from months). Even if I set it at 200 Kb/s, nothing happens, it keeps download at maximum speed.

AV? Scanning of the nntp traffic?

Then I would expect otherwise never reaching the bandwidth limit as set.
I don't notice any difference either despite on how the bandwidth limit is set. It always seems to download at full throttle.
Not that downloading at full speed is a problem for me btw.

"From yesterday the bandwidth limit doesn't work"
Since Alt.Binz isn't in the habit of spontaneously re-writing itself, logic would suggest that you should look at what changed on your system "yesterday". My money is also on an AV update.

I agree! :)
That was what I did before posting here... without finding any clue.

I deleted all the files in the altbinz folder and set it again from scratch.
Now it works regularly.

Hooray!
