Dual Screen Bug
« on: February 10, 2010, 11:23:28 am »
This is sort of a weird one and I'm not really sure what causes it. There is one other program that does the same thing, an FTP program but that's it. Anyways... on to the "bug". I'm running dual screen, as the topic title says, and I have a taskbar on each monitor that holds the apps running on that specific monitor (running the blackbox fork BBLean as main shell), but when I minimize alt.binz, which I have running on the left monitor, it ends up in the taskbar on the right monitor, which is a bit weird. And when clicking it to maximize again it pops up on the left as it should. I have no idea why it does that, and it is kinda annoying after a while since you have to move the mouse from the left screen, click on alt.binz in the right screen taskbar, then move back to the left one for editing. I could of course run it on the right one all the time, but that doesn't really fix the issue, plus it doesn't really fit with my workflow.
It's not a big problem, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Thanks again Rdl for this awesome program!

Edit:
I'm also gonna check in with the blackbox folk to see if it might be something at their end, but I've been running blackbox for many years and these two programs are the only ones doing this.

Edit2:
Actually I got it switched around.. when minimized it stays on the left monitors taskbar as it should, but when maximized it moves over to the right monitors taskbar.

I also had a talk with the blackbox folk, and it seems it isn't caused by bb. Partial quote "..it seems to have to do with how the program utilizes coordinates that exist outside the current monitor parameters". But as I said, not a big problem, just a slight nuisance.
