Assuming that Alt.Binz is excluded from any antivirus or firewall, and neither of those have been updated by your system, I'd try clearing out the temp folder (in case something nasty is still trying to decode) and checking your autoimport folder (in case something's in there that Alt.Binz doesn't like).
The key thing here, of course, is to try to understand what you mean by "all of a sudden". Alt.Binz doesn't spontaneously change itself, so the more info you can give about what was actually happening when you experienced the problem, the more likely it is that a solution can be found.
Some useful tools here are Process Explorer and Process Monitor (both free). PM in particular can tell you exactly what a process is reading/writing.
