AltBinx 0.31.4
WinXP Sp2
running 0.31.4 in '-mi' mode in it's own directory to check out overly colorful user interface that wastes too much space on unneeded eye candy (I really don't like the skins, but you knew that already)
tried moving tabs to change order, they don't seem to follow any logic, slide it right and it moves left, slide it left one place and it moves two - I think it always moves 1 to the left of where you aim it, except when you aim for the far right end when it won't move at all.
any how, back to trying to find a skin choice I can tolerate

The problem appears when some tabs are disabled. Say this:
A: Enabled
B: Disabled
C: Enabled
D: Enabled
If you want to put A in C's place, you have to drag onto D, etc. Enable B and it works as expected. The tab undocking also doesn't seem to work (maybe I'm not doing it right int he new version).
See, not hard to post a bug report without being a dick about it, is it?

One man's dick is another man's Richard. <grin>
Given all the fawning over skins, I figure I need to push back HARDER. A tweakable, "pretty boy" user interface that doesn't work doesn't make the program any better - there is a reason even Microsoft keeps up support for 'Classic' interfaces, it's called don't forget the installed base.

Given how the Delphi implementation works, skins are here to stay. That said, I'd also welcome a no-frills, stripped down skin. We'll have to see what's possible when the skins editor is released.
