A.B randomly pauses, and can't tell why?
« on: November 15, 2010, 10:37:12 am »
hi folks,

i have an 80 odd gig queue, it's running at about 1.2meg and i'm checking it every few hours and i find the queue set to pause and i have no idea why.

The logging is set to everything, but all i see is "connect" to my provider while its paused.

Not sure what's triggering it? any particular way to check?

i'm using v Alt.Binz 0.32.1 and it never did that, until the last few versions... i had upgraded pretty much the same days you released, so not sure exactly when it started.

What is your download drive? What is your temp drive? Are they the same? Did you change download location for those collections?

Hi Rdl!

So default download and temp are set to the same drive (i.e. the one with 500gig free).

Not sure if everybody knows this yet, Newzleech was raided by the Ukrainian secrete police - as part of an unrelated criminal case. They claim to be working to rebuild the site, and have it up from scratch by the end of the year.

I don't see how this relates to this thread.
And that "news" is from last year and doesn't apply today. Newzleech is no more.

ok, i've set the pause on download to 0 and of course its fixed it :c)

i've noticed this gets triggered on the first notification of low diskspace (maybe due to cpu/disk being allocated to other tasks? i.e. my machine being 'busy').

Would it be possible to maybe add a counter to this function, i.e 3 consecutive notifications in 5 sec's would trigger the pause function?

just a thought.
