Title: nzbplay weird percentages v0.31.1
Post by: EyeBaller on July 06, 2009, 07:08:42 am
There was an old thread (https://www.altbinz.net/forum/index.php?topic=1288.0) on this with v 0.26.3, but it's almost 2 years old so I figured it justified a new post.

I was trying to use the nzbplay feature with this download, nothing seemed to happen (player didn't load). then when I clicked off the download tab then back to it, all the percentages/bytes remaining numbers were messed up for this download only.

Any thoughts?

What exactly are we supposed to be looking at?

i didn't see it before neither i only saw -557.016.938 KB Size but now on the desktop with 1680x1050 i also see the bar next to it stating 205248% completion...
or do u mean more specific info about the nzb?

Sorry the image was large, yes the percentage and size go weird, and stay that way until the download is complete.

Heh, 800x600 here I see nada. ;)

So the issue is the collection size being wrongly calculated, and the % completion reflects that.  Should be an unsigned number anyway. :P

Fixed the image! The bug isn't really a huge issue but I'm not sure why it happens..

When I use NZB-play (press the play button) and switch it off, and on again, the remaining-download-size turns to a high negative size, and the status percentage turns very high (ie. 5000%). It happens not all of the time, but in some cases it does (maybe when downloadsize is higher then 1gb, or when a 2cd-avi is in the rar, or when the post is incomplete??)

bug still exists in 0.31.6 as you wrote when switching nzbplay on and off during download there is a pretty good chance this bug will occur.

I have noticed this bug a few times and came here to report it as I had found exactly that. Enabling and disabling nzbplay usually causes it or is related to it somehow.
