Download folder showing twice in explorer
« on: August 09, 2011, 10:00:23 pm »
Hi,

A strange thing... I could not find any previous posts about this so I hope I didn't miss it.
When I click the "Download" button from Alt.Binz it takes me to the download folder in explorer. However the download folder is then shown twice... maybe it's a windows thing, but it only happens in this scenario. I've attached a screenshot. "Usenet" is the folder I download files to (in folders based on NZB name). In the Usenet folder are the Cache folder and NZB folder. Cache is for temporary files and NZB for... well... the NZB files (not monitored for auto-import). "NZB Unpacked" is the folder the files are extracted to.

Also on a side note. Alt.Binz freezes sometimes when I access explorer and go to the partition where the folders Alt.Binz downloads and extracts are. It seems to usually happen only once after a fresh computer start or reboot. I've read about other users having the freezing issue as well. It seems that Alt.Binz is blocked somehow when accessing the harddrive on the partition it downloads to and/or extracts. Antivirus does not seem to be of influence. It also happens when having no antivirus.
