Setup window/frame size
« on: September 20, 2016, 11:58:04 pm »
I have been using altbinz for over 10 years and on every new version I expected this problem would be fixed .
Simply stated :the FIXED "setup" windows size  is too large to enable the OK button as it is hidden under the  windows task bar.
I would like it to be at least one (1") 3cm smaller or adjustable floating so that the task bard need not to be hidden .
I use Win_7_32 , my monitor screen size is 21"

More important than the version of Windows that you are running, what screen resolution are you running?

I'm currently using a laptop with a 14.1" screen, running at 1366x768 (which I consider to be barely adequate) and the setup window fits on my desktop no problem.

For the past 8 years I have been running and I will soon be returning to using a 24" monitor at 1920 x 1200 and I definitely don't have any problems there.

I imagine you are running a lower screen resolution?  That is the only reason I could think of why the setup window is off the bottom edge of the screen.

Thanks for the reply dabrown /
I guess I should have mentioned  that the monitor resolution setting on my 21" monitor is  1360x765 because I am blind in one eye and need large fonts in additions that  the resolution fits the actual size of my electronic graphic "printed circuit board" (PCB) to be copied as posted on my webpage . http://members.shaw.ca/roma/ .
Since I use three computers of difference size screen set for large fonts I face the same annoying issue  when using altbinz .
altbinz has had the same framing fixed set-up since the first version  , computers have evolved and offer a range of resolutions setting . Altbinz should keep up with these options . A simple adjustable frame would do nicely for all users , font size are also in need of attention.
