still losing queue

i was using v .25 and occasionally id lose my queue when restarting. i read somewhere that this was fixed in the new version so i donated and got new version and i still lost the queue... any other reasons this could be happening? os is vista ultimate 64 bit. thanks

Which version are you now running?

I don't know the answer to your question, but here are a few ideas:

* Have you excluded the alt.binz folders from your antivirus package? Specifically altbinz\misc

* When you lose your queue next time, navigate to the alt.binz misc folder and see how big queue.abz and queue.abz.prevcopy are. It's possible you could make a coy of *.prevcopy, exit alt.binz, copy the back of prevcopy over queue.abz, restart alt.binz and recover your queue.

That makes no sense. Anyway try this: Create altbinz folder outside program files, put altbinz.exe inside and also create folder misc inside altbinz folder. Start altbinz, setup server, settings... And then see if the queue will disappear.

it only happens sometimes and i am unable to reproduce it. seems to be just random. i'll give it a try if or when it happens again. the weirer part is when i click the par2 tab the stuff ive downloaded is still there. so only the queue file is getting lost somehow. maybe if altbinz is shutdown when it is auto saving the file?
