testfile for sfv deleting problem
« on: September 19, 2007, 12:08:16 am »
ok i made one download to reproduce the sfv delete thing.

"Delete sfv file after succesfull unraring" has to be activated and better no subfolders in default download dirs or unrar dir.

Each file has:
- 3 rar files
- one small par2 file
- one sfv file
- enough repair blocks
as an addition testfile2 has a file called "testfile2_missingpart.txt, but its not missing.
the par2 set for tesfile1 has "testfile1_missingpart.txt which is missing (to simulate missing part)

this is what happens:

1. All gets downloaded
2. Alt.Binz sees that 1 part for tesfile1.par2 is missing and unpauses 1 block
3. tesfile2 gets unrared and deletes all sfv files in the folder.
4. tesfile1 repair starts and fails because the sfv file is gone and so one more block is required.

It is easy to follow in the log.

and here the NZB: http://www.divshare.com/download/2023176-f0c

Edit: The Problem is even bigger when "Move sfv in front of the queue" is activated.

Scenario: NZB1 is downloaded, finished an becomes unrared
While unraring Alt.Binz decodes sfv and par2 file from a new NZB (for now called NZB2)
NZB1 finishes Unraring and deletes all sfv Files from dir and so it deletets sfv File from NZB2!
If now one File from NZB2 is incomplete Par2 repair will fail.
