v0.31.1 RSS filter losing settings
« on: June 08, 2009, 11:58:30 pm »
Hope this isn't a re-post, have done a search and found nothing.

Twice now, I have loaded altbinz 0.31.1 and my rss filters have been replaced with sqares. Even the grey text explaining how to use the filters has gone. Last time, a re-install restored the grey text and I had to re-do my filters, but it's happened again.

Any ideas?

The filters are saved in the file \misc\rssfilters.abz.  If you're on Vista, track down where this file actually is and see if it's saving properly (open it in Notepad).  My guess is that UAC is playing silly buggers again.

Otherwise the file may be corrupted - exit Alt.Binz, delete the file and restart.

Looks like it was corrupted, removed the file and the grey text came back.

I'll just set up the filters again and keep them in a text file for next time :P
