It would be great to be able to change the X-Newsreader, X-Mailer, User-Agent-Header, which identifies the usenet-client.

Some usenet-services want their users ONLY to use the services' own usenetclient, and by changing the useragent-header, you could bypass this!

Alt.Binz doesn't post anything to news server so there is nothing by what newsserver could identify client software. Those header lines are used when posting article to server.

:oops: ...my fault, you're right. I just established too many connections and my provider blocked my account! Problem solved, thanks for the info!
