Title: Generic newznab support?

I know right now there is a nzb.su tab which is already pretty awesome. But is it possible to get support for any newznab site assuming we provide the appropriate URL and API key? There are many other sites other than nzb.su that use the newznab code, so it would be really useful if we could just generically support newznab sites. I believe CouchPotato, SickBeard and SABnzb already do this.

Now that nzb.su went private (along with many other new and old newznab sites), I think support for any newznab site should be added.

this would be awesome.. Alot of users use newsnab as a private indexer.

it also would be nice to add a feature that will work the same as couchpotatoe or sickbeard. Maybe a monitoring folder that will download a release when a nzb is found in a folder..

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I use three different newznab servers, none of which are currently supported by alt.binz.

It would great if you could not only add generic newznab support, but for multiple different servers.  They all have basically the same API functionality and I'm sure it's not much different from your omgwtfnzbs module.

It would be extremely handy to do this, as I am struggling trying to get the RSS feeds to work - though I probably should read the notes on RSS feeds and see what I am doing wrong with the filter and auto accepting into pause.

It will be added for sure, when exactly - not sure.
Omgwtfnzbs has nothing to do with newznab. NZB.su is based on newznab.

Thanks for the clarification rdl - sorry got them around the wrong way - I couldn't remember which one was newznab.
