How to stop Sample par2 files to get loaded
« on: September 19, 2010, 08:29:15 pm »
When I load NZB files my sample files are paused and don't get downloaded. However their sample par2 files are loaded into the par2 tab and with cleanup they don't go away.
So the result is that after each download I have to remove the sample entries from the par2 tab by hand. There should be a way to make this easier like avoiding loading the sample par2 files in the first place.

You would have been a lot useful if you had said where to go directly. You know it's not a gaming forum where you look for hints!  ;) :)

Ahw come on! The setup isnt that difficult. :)

Sorry, Im not at my computer anymore today. If you havent found it yet...its somewhere in the second, third or fourth menu entry of the options dialog. It says import as paused. The sample.par pause option is in there.

That didn't help. I went to Setup->NZB->Import as paused->sample.par2 file
But it doesn't help. The par2 file is still loaded in the par2 tab. Imported as paused doesn't help.
I don't want it to be imported at all, so that I don't have to remove it by hand at the end of download.

the imported as paused will only take effect on newly imported nzbs, because the pausing is done during importing. in order to pause those sample.par2 files that where imported beforhand: expand all collections in your queue and filter for  sample par2. mark all->right-click-menue ->pause.

It works as designed, and you can be pretty sure that if it didn't it would already have been reported.  As 2/3 of your last requests have already been implemented, may I suggest posting in the Help forum first in future? We can always move your thread to Requests after for you.
