Let's try to make it the easy way
i just would like to have my download directory history not cleared each time i close alt.binz
This is what i call download directory history :

This way, i dont have to remind how i spelled each season of ubuntu...
Maybe an option to keep last 10 or 20 last names would be nice ?
Thx again for your neverending improvements

So no download history but an autocomplete history, just like your browser does. ;)
+1
I prefer this over the autocomplete for the articles subject. With this I mean: if there would be such a thing as a history, first show that, then the current article's subject.
And of course like we all ask with all request...make that last one a configuration. Makes both sides happy.

My scenario is naming a clean entry for the shows I download each week, instead of the autocomplete bugging (yes I know thats personal) me with the dots and encodings and quality abbreviations.

Autocomplete history? Why not ;D
For this request, autocomplete based on directories name i have in my DL folder would be fine too i guess, but it implies some directory scanning, not a very lite solution i think.
It's up to the boss :-*

Sorry to bump that old mama, but it has fallen deep quite fast and i don't even know (except ascathon, thx man) if it could be useful to other dudes ::)
For now, i try not to quit the proggy to keep folder history

damn, as no answer is worse than just a simple no ;D, i'm coming back on that one.
Now that Rdl is on fire with all those nice updates, i just want to be sure that this just won't get unnoticed.

No. It's not combobox - it's popup menu.
