Doesn't fit completly with your question Filipenko, but if you try emulate alt.binz with wine, it doesn't work, because of the new GUI, which Rdl has used for the program.

Maybe it will work with the normal delphi GUI, but it's not important ;). Would be nice, if you can build a "crap"-GUI-alt.binz version for linux/unix using wine.

You're saying that it worked before new GUI?

GrabIt is programmed in delphi, too, but it works perfectly with wine under linux.

Your program used a skin, that doesn't fit with wine, I think. Don't know, if this would work, but I think, we should give it a try ;). Could you build a "extra-version" without these tiny buttons on the top?

But one thing, Wine will hangup on start up. Wine has build up the complete GUI (without buttons) and waits for action. If you click somewhere on the GUI, Linux shouts out, that Wine has hang up. Could post

@Flilipenko you can try to install Wine for MacOSX, you should try Darwine.

Good news ^^

Old version of alt.binz works perfectly under linux with wine :). Whatever, if you could create another version (seperatly) for linux/unix/macos with wine, that would be awesome!

That error will reamain, but it's not important. Either configure alt.binz via windows (disable speedgraph) or edit misc\config.abz:
[Statusbar]
Panel2Visible=0

or wait for next version which will run under wine with speedgraph.

misc\config.abz:
is binary only for so far I  can see
Only weird binary signs I shall see if I can get a config.abz from windows
