Title: Portable Alt.Binz
Post by: newsfusion on May 27, 2008, 03:23:30 pm
Hello

A version where nothing is written to the registry or any folder (other than the folder containing the executable) would be useful. :D

Regards

Alt.Binz doesn't write anything to the registry except when registering nzb extension when it's told to. By default all dirs it uses are created in altbinz root dir (folder containing the executable) except when Vista is detected in which case IF "misc" directory is not detected in alt.binz root folder it uses "users\application.." path. So if you're a vista user and know your way around UAC and all that Vista crap you can manualy create misc dir inthere and altbinz will still use its root dir.
