 :o :o :o

I wonder how it is humanly possible to have the need for more threads

Maybe to suck every drop of blood of some free 1Ko/s accounts before they get closed for such abuses?
Or to kill a brand new hard drive?
Do you have more than a hundred paid threads on giganews and lives in somalia?
Anyway, so many thread doesn't sound very "NG's spirit"

BTW i'm not joking, i'm really eager to know the meaning of such a request.

Well, I believe I have explained this to someone in the past. Its simple really, on a 4mbit line i can download at a maximum of rougly 420kb/s. Given a maximum speed of say 1kb/s per thread, or even a generous 2kb/s, 100 threads merely adds up to 200kb/s. This is all give or a take on a small margin ofcourse. But i trust you get the general idea ;)

EDIT: Oh and if i'm going to have to explain why i'm using this particular news server my pants wil probably explode. Just believe me when i say i'm kind of limited.
