AltBinz ver 0.39.15 OS: Win XP
This is not an outright fault of AltBinz, but the way AltBinz handles something like Con.Man.S01E01 thru Con.Man.S01E131 that were recently posted could be improved on.
A few days ago Con.Man.S01E01 thru Con.Man.S01E131 were posted & I tried DLing the nzb using the AltBinz inline NZBClub & Binsearch search tabs. On each occasion AltBinz froze & had to be hard killed.
I then used to a web browser to DL the nzb files, but was not allowed to save them, getting the message that the file exsisted already. But the files did not exsist, hmmmm. I the just saved the nzb files as S01e01-13 removing the show name 'con.man' . This I loaded into AltBinz, which then DLed them for me. A while later I noticed, that though AltBinz did DL all of the files, none of them were yenc decoded.
So, then a duckduckgo search & I find out the Windows does not allow for the creation of a file with the name 'con' (
http://tinyurl.com/o9rskfm). & Even though the file name was much longer than just 'con', it could not be created. When trying to create such a file, Windows will tell you that it already exsists, as does a web browser when trying to save such a file.
I figure that since a web browser does not allow you to save a file such as "Con.Man.S01E01.Stalled.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-EsQ" giving the error that a file by that name already exsists, that maybe AltBinz should also come with some error msg instead of just freezing
