Alt.Binz 0.35.1 Open NZB Dialog
« on: February 06, 2011, 09:37:39 pm »
When I click the 'NZB' button to open a NZB file, the open file dialog is completely changed from previous versions. I looks like an old Windows 95 openfile dialog now.
You only see a list of files and the standard toolbar on the left (with categories like Downloads etc.) is completely gone.

My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits.

Greetings,
André Lubke

Sorry, a typo in the title this should be Alt.Binz 0.35.1

Yes, it's different, but why is this posted as a bug? Is something about it not working?  If not, it would probably be a better idea to use the Requests forum if you want some functionality added to it.

Sorry, thought this was a bug, because this is actually going backwards :)

In this same dialog it was always possible to choose multiple nzb files for import. That is not possible anymore. For 10 file I know have to open the dialog 10 times.

Since it is the same dialog I thought I post it in this thread to.

Greetz,
André

I noticed now that you CAN actually select multiple files with Ctrl-Mouseclick, but Ctrl-A does not work anymore.

I was also experiencing this problem.  It would take a long time for the requester to open, and then it would take a long time to select details view, and then it would take an even longer time to perform the sort by modified date.  I have gone back to a previous version (0.35.0) because this was so irritating.  Windows 7 Ultimate 64.

WinXP Pro SP3: with this 35.1 version you cannot select multiple nzb files in the Import NZB files (s) window and by using Deleted keyboard button delete them all. Same applies to delete a single file.

And even if you select multiple NZB's, right click and then click 'Delete', it only removes a single file whee the mouseponter is one.

Bit annoying cause there are now to many mouse clicks required. Hope previous functionality is restored.

Update: does not work in Windows 7 x64 either.
Import NZB file(s) has changed completely since 0.35.0, alas.
So, I stick with that version for now.

All this mess is fixed now.

However, there is no way to position dialogs correctly under XP (on the right monitor in multi monitor setup) - works exactly the same as pre 0.35.1
Vista/W7 are ok - better looking dialogs + positioning ok
