Title: Altbinz freezes at High Speed on old PC
Post by: wortelstok on March 29, 2007, 10:21:29 am
I have an 8Mbit connection. When I open the pipe fully, altbinz will "not" react to commands anymore, it almost freezes (delay about 30 seconds). When I open 90% all is still fine. Other PC programs still keep responding.
Does it have to do with processor speed (1MHz, 500Mb) or what?

decoding files at high speed will cause cpu use.. what processor/ram/hd have you got exactly?

PIII/1000/160GB ATA100
Interesting thing is, or was, that other programs do respond.
However today with daily build 270307 the problem is solved  :D
