Binsearch Size column
« on: October 10, 2010, 04:23:54 am »
All the results have a "&" in the Size column.  Anyone seeing this?  It won't let me sort the column either.

Yes, the Binsearch site has made a small tweak that has caused a minor cosmetic change in the display of Alt.Binz results (spaces replaced with   in size). Search still works fine, downloading NZBs still works fine, clicking the Size column to sort still works fine.

No doubt this will be addressed in the next version.

You sure?  Clicking the Size column doesn't do anything for me.

What, nothing happens at all? Strange, it's working here.

Is it like that for all search engines, or just Binsearch? Have you tried changing skin (I'm on Office2007)?

Tried with newzleech, nzbindex and yabse also and they display fine. Why would their result be affected since you explained that it was due to a cosmetic change in binsearch?

I don't know why but i read all that as "clicking the size column makes it display correctly" so i added my comment...

But it is true that often i have to click several times on size column in order to sort by by size (from biggest to smallest), although we're on the wrong thread for that.

When i tested sorting in the size column it did work in the sence that it did change the order of the posts, but not in the sence of doing what it's supposed to, because it didn't sort the posts acording to the size, but rather seperated the posts with size attributes from those without and sorted both acording to age.
