Title: Can't search in NEWZLEECH no more????

I used to search files in NEWZLEECH, with all groups to get files, but since 02-27-07 until now I can't not use this function no more, any help????

Try the latest daily build, that works fine.  Join #alt.binz on EFNet to get link.

is EFNet on Mirc?  I dont use that, because I never chat online.  is there a way to get search function works again without going to mIRC thing???

It seems that Newzleech seems to be having some problems right now. At least for me, searching on their web site has not worked for the last couple of days. Therefore, I don't think it's an alt.binz problem.

No newzleech search was fixed in some of the previous builds and is currently working. I really don't see a reason why ppl have aversion towards using an irc client

it's wierd, I visited newzleech.com, it works fine.  I'm using alt.binz 0.23.2 searching NEWZLEECH with all groups, if I please the search blank, NEWZLEECH works fine, but when I type in a word like, Firewall, music, dance, then it doesn't find anything????  I install alt.binz 0.24, it has the same problem, but alt.binz 0.24 keep hang after couple hours?

Just have not had a need to use IRC since 1997, so loading unecessary software that i would use only once to get an updated version of AltBinz, seems like a little overkill.

Is there any chance of releasing a weblink for the latest nightly build?
Or allowing nightly builds to be updated through the autoupdate feature?
Or even a link on these forums would be great.

Is there any reason why the link can only be given over IRC?
If not any news on when an updated version will be released publically?

I dont want mIRC on my pc either... but Freak PM me if you want to get IRC over the web to allow you to d/load the lastest builds.

Or if the mods are ok with it I can post the info here.

Ok, after I uninstall version 0.24 and install 0.23.2, now the search function in NEWZLEECH works again, I guess I don't need the new version 0.24 or mIRC.  thanks for all the help, as long as this works for me, I'm happy, peace.

No, just a coincidence. Newzleech owner introduced cookies, so alt.binz stoped working. Yesterday he removed cookies.

I just logged in to #AltBinz, via the Webpage linked by Gompy..
And i managed to get the latest build.

I cannot see why a thread called Nightly Builds, with the link cannot be provided in the forum, it was an extra bunch of steps that doesn't seem help much, but at least i now have the updated version again.

RDL:  Keep up the great work, it's nice to see the latest changes in the nightly build, you must be busy...
