Queue stops updating before shutdown
« on: December 27, 2017, 04:31:17 pm »
I leave several downloads queued when I go to bed, and set Alt.Binz to shutdown Windows on completion.  In the morning I press the Cleanup button, but it leaves one download remaining in the download queue and its corresponding PAR remaining on the PAR2 tab.  The download queue shows that the last two RARs in the set didn't complete -- the last RAR is at 0% and the next-to-last RAR is at 15%.  The PAR2 tab shows the same two RARs as not completed in the set.  It's as if the download were stopped a few minutes before it completed.

But if I look in the Unrar directory, I can see that all the downloads actually completed and unrared, including the one that seemed to be incomplete.  And if I look at the log file, it shows that all the RARs in the set decoded without incident, including the two RARs that seemed to be missing, and that the sets were all unrared.  But the last few minutes of activity didn't get reflected in the Download queue or PAR2 tabs in the program.

This has happened twice in the last week.  It seems to be new in 0.44.3.

I've noticed similar problems also. It seems status is not saved on windows shutdown signal. I'll investigate.

This should be fixed, but need testing for unwanted side effects.

Seems to be working fine now.
