On XP, with Alt.Binz 0.35.2 (and and one or two versions before this), is it just me or does the small par2 file continue to remain (along with the SRR file) after the unrar and cleanup. The SRR file has always remained. The PAR2 file was previously being deleted automatically.
Thanks

Works as expected here. Can you double-check your settings in Setup > PAR2?

Thanks for the reply :)
Under Settings > Par2:
Checked "Par2 checking"
Checked "Delete par2 files"
Checked "Par2 repairing"
Checked "Cleanup after PAR2 repair"
Checked "Save PAR2 tab info on exit"
Unchecked "Recheck all PAR2 sets on start"
Maybe it's an order of operation thing... if the par2 isn't needed to complete the extraction, then it remains behind, but if it's used during the unrar, it's deleted. For me the par2 is mostly deleted except on occasion when it's left behind with the .srr file...
Here are most of the relevant PAR2 settings within config.abz
AutoCleanupTime=1

Is the par2 set complete? Or was it "complete" with 'unimportant files' not beeing complete?
-
Excellent suggestion.
Test 1 - I downloaded an NZB with the following checked under unimportant files - .nfo, .srr, .sfv. The small .par2 and .srr files were both remaining in the directory.
Test 2 - I cleared the directory and downloaded the same NZB with the following unchecked under unimportant files - .nfo, .srr, .sfv. Only the .srr file was remaining. The par2 was NOT in the directory.
Let me know if you need the specific NZB I was using and thanks for follow-up.
