Unhandled page fault under Wine

I've just upgraded from v0.25 to v0.27.  Now when I 'wine altbinz.exe'  the main window appears, but will not take focus.  Initially I was running in the same folder I used to run v0.25, but I get the same results when running from a folder containing only the files from the RAR.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

I was having the same problem and it turned out that my wine installation got corrupted somehow. I suggest removing your .wine folder and reinstalling your apps. This way it should work and save you some time.

I think you may be right as I've noticed I'm also now getting a similar error message when running 'winecfg' which goes away when moving ~/.wine to another name.

OK, I've fixed my Wine so it no longer page faults, but I was still getting the problem where Alt.Binz refused to take focus.

I finally fixed it this evening by running winecfg, and selecting Graphics -> Emulate a virtual desktop.  I had to run Alt.Binz once with this option selected, and now it runs just fine without the virtual desktop.
