I downloaded and tried to update to v0.31.1. I get the request to authenticate with my forum login and password. I've entered that information and clicked on the check button. Nothing happens. It just sits there. What am I missing?

This sunday i fired up Alt.Binz (the latest version), but the authentication screen wouldn't go away. So i clicked it away manually by clicking the X in the upper right corner. Next i tried to connect to my newsserver, but it wouldn't connect. So i went to the altbinz.net site, but couldn't reach that either. I now had to revert back to 28.5 to be able to use this great little program again.
Surely this can't be the way it was intended to work?

Well, since you can obviously reach altbinz.net now ... try again?

Site was down for 40minutes

the site being down happened often in the last weeks, I had the issue 3 or 4 times that altbinz wouldn't authenticate so I tried the website and it was down too. btw what about the redundancy you wanted to implement in case the servers are down?

3/4 times in last weeks? I don't think so, somewhow. In any case, ask yourself if you really need to close Alt.Binz each time. It's fine left in the tray as a background process, and hibernating is always the better option on Windows rather than rebooting. I need to authenticate once a week max here.

That can always happen nothing is 100% fail proof, but maybe it's nice to have some sort of fail safe option in Alt.Binz so we are still able to use the program even when the site is offline. Just my 2 cents :)

The site was down yesterday too..
Do it really need too check every time it starts?
Maybe once a week would be enough?
(Sorry for my bad english)
