Avast reporting virus in 0.25 (likely false positive)
« on: December 03, 2009, 05:40:14 am »
FYI

Avast Antivirus Free today started saying altbinz.exe version 0.25 (on my pc and all the ones linked on this site) was infected with a virus. All AV definitions are current.  I believe this is a false-positive.

It's a false positive.  Avast claims to have fixed the problem with the last VPS update but it looks like AltBinz is still effected by it.

They've finally gotten the whole fiasco fixed as of virus update 091209-1.
