Hi,
just tried out alt.binz and during connecting to ssl news-servers the program just consumes 100% cpu and is not reliably connecting. I wanted to know if this got fixed in newer versions and donated a resonably (but small) amount to get the latest version (before maybe donating a bigger amount). However, my payment (a bit more than 5 AU-$) was refused, because it turned out to be just 3 EUR. I know that paypal takes some of the money, but I think not realizing how it is for different people from different countries to pay in euro is not the right policy either. Either say how much you want to have as a minimum or allow any amount and live with that. At least, everybody knows then what terms and conditions there are. This "donate, and if you're lucky I'm pleased"-policy sucks, because both parties are pissed off afterwards: You because you feel insulted that it was too little and I because I took the effort and you refused it.
Regards,
Me
