Newb here and need help plz

 I am fairly new to this. I downloaded alt.binz. Bought the 3 dollar for day usenetserver. followed the alt.binz setup guide and cant connect. Maybe i am not entering the site properly.I tried a few different ways. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming that you've entered the server details correctly (a screenshot of the server page would help here), first make sure that you're actually able to connect to the server from your PC.  Try pinging it from the commandline. Try switching off your firewall.  Try to telnet to it and login manualy (AUTHINFO USER username, then AUTHINFO PASS password), etc.  This might help to narrow down the problem.

 I did everything correctly I believe. I am working on a pic now.  I download all the time with torrents and have no problems,

nevermind. fixed it. 1 letter in my user name was suppose to be uppercase and it was lower case lol. brain fart
