I was thinking of donating so I could get the latest version of Alt.Binz (It is a very good software) and I do not know how much I need to donate to get it. Does anyone know?

don't expect nummbers. the game of guessing what's the least amount to donate to become contributor is not well liked around here. the textbook answer would be give as much as the software is worth for you. but thats quite vage i think. as a rule of thumb i would suggest you donate about as much as you would pay in a store for application that is:
- not or sale
- not super expensive
, but costs enough so you would figure it's a worthy and useful prodct.

I was thinking of donating between $10-$20 but I thought maybe it needs like $25

Well we are not supposed to discuss what we donated, but donate what you can for how useful the application is to you. Thats the nice thing about donation-ware is that you pick the amount you can afford. Dont forget you also get a "lifetime" of free upgrades. One thing I suggest is not to be an ass about it and go and donate 1$ and expect to be made a contributor. Paypal charges RDL fee's and really the effort taking a dollar in is not even worth it. Also dont forget they use euro's which our dollar is not worth the same.
