problem with downloading files

I searched for something using the built-in binsearch search. I queued all the files in the set.

r21 came out  incomplete.

I am using my ISP usenet account to download the files. I have setup astraweb as a backup server. when I was downloading .r21, it seems to me that altbin didn't use my astraweb account to download the missing file parts. I thought that the backup server is suppose to work this way (unless the file is also missing from astraweb?). There are instances though that astraweb will start to download.

1 test I did is to search for the file again using binsearch and requeue the file. It came out OK the 2nd time around.

any ideas?

are you sure that file is realy incomplete?

maybe those parts are just corrupt (they got corrupt while downloading) in that case the backupserver will do nothing.

Check your log it should tell you that
