How to backup all alt.binz settings?
« on: December 27, 2011, 12:28:39 am »
Hi all, my pc has developed a new problem which i am sure is not alt.binz fault...

Every now and then, the bloody thing starts accessing the hardisk consistantly, to the point where its banging the living crap out of my hdd so hard, that i cant open a damn thing, just hdd light is just on solid non stop, i sometimes have to wait 10-15 mins just to be able to access anything, even the mouse barley moves, tried shutting everything down and still does it.

My only option when it does this is to just hit the reset, where it then boots back to normal and all is ok again, my problem is sometimes my alt bins seems to loose all of its config settings apart from the server, which is odd.

I have backed up my misc folder, but is there anything else i need to do to return all of my settings without typing them all in and setting it up again and again, its happened about 5 times in a week now.

 >:(

Hmm weird, ok, ill try that again, i also keep getting a long list in my pars tab of about 100 lines of just empty pars that wont delete, i have to delete the par cnf file from the misc folder.

Ill try it again and se what happens.

Cleanup button not always work for me as well in the par tab.
I just select all [ctrl+A] and delete them [del]
