Is the altbinz project still active?

Don't get me wrong guys, it just seems that for three months we haven't seen any new versions, whilst all other available usenet applications update their versions constantly. I am not asking for anything ground-shuttering just to see if someone still cares about altbinz.

All I can say is that I care. I have been busy with the work over past few months. Hopefully in the future, I will be able to dedicate more time.

Hey Rdl, don't get me wrong. All i wanted to say is that i got so used and depended on altb that i hate seeing the rest bloated apps gaining ground.

Just wanted to say Hi,

I have bieng anxious to get on this newsgroup bandwagon for ages, but somthing always distracted me before i worked it out.

Studied random forums around the planet for dayzz this month, and deffentially did not want to try alt.binz without donating, but didnt want grablt or SABnzbd+,  i just wanted however a client just like the old kazza/vuze.

I just love how easy and simple everything is with this latest 0.31.6 and really cant think of what else i want, and i guess with post no 1, i still have a lot to learn, but dam its all so easy now.

I went over to my friends place last night and showed him the light, away from dummass torrents.

and let him use 1 of my 3 alt.binz accounts, and within 20 GB's, he contributed himself

I'm not sure but I believe sharing your account details for Alt.Binz to a friend is not allowed.

Some rules:
1. You will not share alt.binz account with anyone else.
2. You will not share your copy of alt.binz with anyone (your copy only works with your account and no one elses)
3. You're allowed to use it at 3 computers max.
4. Security of your alt.binz account is your responsibility. Any hijacking is your fault.
5. Running trojan versions from usenet usually ends up in breaking rule 4

Breaking any of those rules will result in loosing your alt.binz account.

Yeah, thought about that.

but i only use it on 1 pc, so i used it on another pc

so thats 2 machines total.

My friend loved alt.binz and bought an account himself.

Now im only using it on 1 pc again.
