Hi!
Is it possible to set any caching settings in Alt.Binz? I would like it to cache e.g. 32 MB of downloaded data in memory first before writing it to disk. That way, my harddisk would be used much less frequently (I sleep with my computer on *ahem* and hate the noise a busy hard disk makes).
If not directly supported by Alt.Binz (I went through the options menu and found nothing) - is there an app that creates a virtual disk that caches to memory and then writes to disk when the cache is full?
Thanks

it is possible but you need a newer version (0.26.0 or newer).
see also in our Wiki ( https://www.altbinz.net/wiki/Advanced_Setup under Download #2 )
To get it click "donate" in alt.binz

While I think you should make the donation, these are generally useful apps to know about anyway
