windows 8 consumer 64bit issue

is any 1 using windows 8 consumer 64bit as i am having issues with 0.39.4, i made a post in help section but no reply, i'm wanting to purchase lt.binz but not going to unless some feedback comes my way, problem i have is alt.binz starts fine, i can open nzb fine, i click connect and file downloads but thats it, nothing, all info on connection speed, download speed is only displayed at bottom of window and alt.binz cant touched till downloads finish, like its froze/crashed. also why does the prog max out on 10MB/s cos i have more download speed to be used, some help well appreciated please

Yep serious issue for me too. Makes Alt.Binz useless on Windows 8.

Yes I do. Said connect speed works fine in Windows 7 x64, but not in Windows 8 x64.
I think I can expand on the OP's post a little more: The application works fine in all other respects except it freezes the entire application every ~10 seconds for ~10 seconds. During the freeze it does not accept any user input and I can see it stops processing incoming data. When it kicks back into gear it seems to go fine.
I can leave the application and it WILL download and finish the download fine, eventually. But with all the freezing its basically useless.

I already promised it once and I failed. So no more promises.
I pressume there will be 0.39.5 in a few days and then a week of hard work and 0.4 should be ready.
