0.24 working, but 0.24.1 will not work HELP RDL!

I have been using a nightly build of 0.24 and has been working fine for a few weeks, finished downloading some files, unpacked 0.241 to a different directory...

0.24.1 will not connect or actually complete any searches.. (no rotating dash display)

I also note that "Site" "Version" and "Forum" buttons, do not work or connect as 0.24 does..  For example pressing check version, just stays highlighted yellow, but never replies...

(I have had a look and despite AltBinz thinking it's connecting, no ports are being accessed or opened for any of the operations)

Any ideas on what would be causing a conflict?

If i go back to 0.24 (nightly build) than my ports and buttons and searches all work well, and i can see the ports opened.

What could cause this any ideas?

All i can think of is that something is blocking inet access. Firewall? OS?

Thanks, really frustrating as i could switch between 0.23 and 0.24 but 0.24.1 doesn't work at all....

I can't figure it out, is 0.24.1 aware of 0.24?  Registry or temp or cache or log file?

Anyway looking at the changelog you were busy on the release well done, keep up the good work, i'll try a few more things.

EDIT: Hmm, after typing that reply, i tried 0.24.1 again, and to my surprise it worked.  Don't know what fixed it, but at least it is...

I do know i stupidly initially loaded and excuted 0.24.1 when already running 0.24.0 and this caused an access violation error.

But regardless all good now.
