33.4 won't start

Reinstalled 33.4 and put in same password and username from Forum.  It freezes the login.  I click the little x in the right hand corner to get rid of the login box.  In my log info for usenetserver, it reads "Invalid class typecast".   I hit OK, change port to 119 and apply.  Exit out, restart.  Nothing has changed.  It does not connect.

For the n-th time, when adding a new server you don't hit apply but add as primary. It should show in server list then. Then you click ok to exit setup.
Bug with 'Invalid typecast' is already reported and fixed (for the next version) but it's nothing major, just click ok on error popup.

For the 1st time, you sir, are no gentlemen.  Ah... if only the rest of the world was on your lofty plain.  For the n-th time, I have some sort of conflict.  It will not TAKE the the changes or entries I type in.   I regret contributing to the software updates and will just try to go back to .25 and hope it will work.  Why, I wonder, would you be an adminstrator, if you can't have a little tolerance for the great unwashed?   My Profuse apologies and Many wishes for a most Healthy New Year.   Now for your witty put-down...

I'm trying to resolve the problem, however you won't work with me. I've asked for a few screenshots of the steps you take to try and troubleshoot the problem you have. You just ignored it. So, please explain to me how am I supposed to react?

In any case:
First step is to see if altbinz saves config ok (has write privilegies) - Enter altbinz, change one thing, lets say width of the column in download queue. Exit altbinz. Enter altbinz. Width of the column is saved?
