Alt.Binz 0.25 crash in Ubuntu - "Invalid DIB Handler"
« on: February 28, 2009, 04:44:54 pm »
Hi,

This is happening every few hours now, the error message "Invalid DIB handler" comes up and downloads stop, clicking on it doesn't close it. Also here is a line from the log file which may be of interest:

Code: [Select]
28/02/2009 13:46:44] [Dec] Exception Out of memory while expanding memory stream

[28/02/2009 13:46:44] [Dec] Firstpart=1;NumOfParts=157;Encoding=Yenc;fsize=100000000;fname=*****;Outputdir=Z:\home\*****\altbinz\download\\*****

The process is then not able to be closed and must be killed through System Monitor - it was using 1.3GB of memory and the whole system starts to freeze and become unstable. I've made sure the Wine settings are correct and are working for other programs, this version of Alt Binz worked fine for a few weeks with no changes.

I'm using Wine 1.1.4 and Ubuntu 8.10 - thanks for any help :)
