Alt.Binz 0.39.9 and Astraweb and Windows 8

when I try to connect I get a unable to connect error and in the message it says 500 what? any ideas?

I have tried every which way Regular, SSL, Windows Firewall, No windows Firewall, nothing works same message, I contacted astraweb they said they have had other reports from users of alt binz and windows 8 with same problem but no resolution to it :(

I would really like to know what is beeing sent that astra cannot recognize.
Can you switch back to non ssl and log traffic with Wireshark? Then send me privatly log file.

Password was entered with extra newline characters infront of it. Please correct that, apply settings and retry.
I think I already have code to eliminate those characters from password field, but obviously something is wrong there.

ahh ya that fixed it, I typed in the password instead of just copy and pasted it and it fixed it so something is wacky when copying a password from a notepad into altbinz with windows 8, but nonetheless tpying it in fixed it.
