Hello,
I'm a contributor and I thought (perhaps incorrectly?) that I could download Alt Binz onto more than one computer. It's been working fine on my laptop for years but now that I try to install it on another computer, it starts up with my username showing briefly as 'donated', and then Alt Binz won't connect to the server at all, despite all the settings in setup being correct. What the deal? ???

You can use alt.binz on up to 3 computers.
The problem is there are to contributors accounts involved (you and your brother?): "donated" & "stone_gas_honey"
Any mismatch with altbinz copy/user&password will result in exactly what you expirience.
Based on logs, I would say "donated" is your account. But you started "stone_gas_honey"s altbinz copy.

OK, thanks for your help. Actually, the "stone_gas_honey" account is mine, and I tried to install AltBinz on a computer that I didn't know already had AltBinz on it (the other, "donated" one). I think that's what happened. Does that mean I have to use the "donated" one only?

No, you have to clear login data and enter new one(your username&password)
