Dear Alt Binz Support,
I have used your last free version for about a year now and from now i've been very happy with it. Thanks!
Now for the problem: Since i moved to a new city i seem to have some problems that make the software crash after a few minutes.
I just start Alt binz, open a few .nzb's and the downloading starts. I'm on a wireless network by the way (in my old home i had cable ADSL).
Now everything seems fine, so i leave my computer on and when i get back i see this:

Download names are blurred out, and the main tekst is dutch, but it states the well known error: Task is not responding
This all accurs within of 10 minutes of starting Alt Binz. Now sometimes i also get this error after the crash stated above(not always)

I hope to hear from u soon,

also disabled firewall temporarily.

been running smooth for 24hours no crash yet.
so i guess changing the default install dir worked. :)

i'll give that a go then, thanks for the heads up

I'm afraid changing the install path, or making a fresh install did not help
Anyone else got an idea? I'm clueless how to fix this

I have seen error like that with my altbinz before (the free one) it usually happens when i download a nzb that is zipped/rarred, then i view the nzb from the archive and double click it to get loaded into altbinz directly without extracting it first, and then i close winrar before its in the cue properly and BAM error... I dont know if this helps just saying, try extract your nzb and then load it.. :)

Did you try to wipe your settings / temp altbinz files?
Close alt.binz, rename "C:\Users\your_user_name_here\AppData\Local\Alt.Binz" into alt.binz.bak, launch alt.binz again, set your server/settings and test

I've done an donation and updated to v39.2, now all seems to work as it should
